
is an Australian native who has worked for European film festivals and documentary organizations since 2008. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts obtained in Melbourne and Berlin, she worked for various Berlinale departments until taking a more focused approach on creative documentary in 2014. This came from coordinating the DOK Leipzig Industry Programme from 2009-2015, which allowed her to also freelance for the Institute of Documentary Film in Prague, for Documentary Campus Masterschool, and various Berlin-based production companies. In January 2015, she was appointed Head of DOK Industry Programme. She regularly tutors on topics like European co-financing, cultural management and festival strategies in places like North America and East Europe.

Language is the star of the show, but it’s supported by Natalia’s lifelong interest in visual storytelling through graphic design and photography. Verbal or otherwise, Natalia’s work consists of distilling information to its essence, organizing it strategically, and giving it the right tone. Increasingly, it includes teaching others to do the same. Natalia holds an MA in Linguistics from Syracuse University and a BA in Drama with a Photography minor from Colorado College. In addition to consulting, Natalia writes a culinary column for the Polish wine quarterly Ferment and publishes her essays and photos on osiatynska.com. She lives in Warsaw with her nine-year-old son, Anker.
